WHY THEY CRIED [2010]
Released as the first Joyland eBook from ECW Press, this collection includes stories that originally appeared in McSweeney's, One Story, and Fence -- plus five previously uncollected stories. One Story co-founder Hannah Tinti writes, "Reminiscent of George Saunders and James Thurber, Why They Cried is a great collection of modern tales."

CASSINGLE [2009]
A follow-up to 2006's Single, Cassingle is a collection of stories that originally appeared in Fence, McSweeney's, Bridge: Stories & Ideas, and Twelve Stories. Toronto's Eye Weekly wrote of Cassingle, "No matter the cut, this is writing that speaks American, in all its complexity."

SINGLE [2006]
My first e-book, Single contains two previously published short stories: "Miss Tennessee" and "The Cryerer," which first appeared in The Land-Grant College Review and One Story, respectively. To date, Single has been downloaded more than 10,000 times.
